Our saddle and seat cover  for the Morini Corsaro 125 Veloce I series are identical to the original.

The charm and prestige of certain motorcycles do not go through the years, in some cases they increase with the passage of time.

This is the case of the Moto Morini, bikes that have left their mark on the young people of the time and who now present their duly restored and polished charm.

The first Corsair 125 came out in 1959 as a utility vehicle, but already in 1961 it was flanked by the fast-paced Corsaro. This bike was the dream of many young people in the 60s, supported by the excellent sporting successes that the house continued to obtain in competitions with the 250 GP. But perhaps the merit was also of his beautiful long and two-colored saddle?

Nisa has been manufacturing saddles for Moto Morini since the 1960s. The two-seater saddle for the Morini Corsaro, is produced today as then.

In those years the saddles were made of a robust iron frame 5 mm thick (NB: nowadays there are much thinner and brittle frames!) With a dense network of springs held centrally by a serpentine spring or commonly called “Greek” “.
To help support the weight of the passengers, two conical springs were positioned centrally to cushion the roughness of the ground.
In those days the streets were not like today’s (at least not everywhere)! Many holes and dirt roads had to be faced by motorcyclists from all over the world. So this type of saddle allowed to improve the comfort and “spring” away in comfort.

The spring frame in black powder coated iron gives this article reliability and strength.

The seat cover is made of black and red leatherette, water-repellent and resistant to weathering. It has the metal plate at the back, as the original.

Also available the seat cover to be mounted on the original frame (art. 2042)
