The Ducati 750 GT, produced between 1971 and 1974, was presented to the public at the Olympia London Show in 1971.
On 23 April 1972, during the “200 Miglia” race, Smart and Spaggiari drivers, with their Ducati 750, ranked first and second respectively. It is the first big success of the long series that this engine will get, in its various evolutions.
Now the Ducati 750 Gran Turismo, which in the early months had reaped good criticism but poor sales, can present itself worthily of the crowded and prestigious European market of the 750 (at the time the queen class of motorcycles) to place itself in the place that is right!
